Armor
International, through its Aviation
Armor division has experience in the
armoring of planes and helicopters, using high resistant
and light materials. It includes levels of protection
B6 and B7 under the ballistic standard EN 1063.
Through
its designs, Armor has acquired great experience
in the armoring of fumigation planes for illicit
crops like the Turbo Thrush.
It has developed modular systems
of armoring for the floor and cabin, ultra light
and resistant to daily use. This type of armor has
been very useful for the model UH–1H Super
Huey.
Likewise, it has experience in
the armoring of models Bell 212, MI-17, MI-19 and
UH-60L Black Hawk among others.
